Christmas at the Cathedral banner

Saturday 13th December 2014, 7pm

Our premier event for Autumn 2014 saw us return to the magnificent surroundings of Wakefield Cathedral, with a programme of festive music that put everyone in the mood for Christmas. With nearly 130 voices raised in song, we entertained a sold-out crowd with everything from Bublé's White Christmas to the traditional O Holy Night, from the 70s rock of Greg Lake's I believe in Father Christmas to the latest Disney hit Frozen.

As well as the choir, we also featured some of our singers in solos and small ensembles. Additional festive flourishes were provided by our guest trumpeter for the evening, Jess Bland.

You can see our tribute to Frozen, as filmed by a member of the audience, on our YouTube channel here, and a selection of photos from the concert are on our Flickr page here.
