A concert for "Live Life Then Give Life" - raising awareness of organ donation

We were thrilled to perform in the newly refurbished Wakefield Cathedral in July 2013, bringing our unique and dynamic performance style to this incredible building. The concert included music from Nat King Cole to Queen, from the Rat Pack to Radiohead, via the Vicar of Dibley! All the profits from the concert (over £1,200) were donated to Live Life Then Give Life, a charity which promotes organ donation and supports people who receive organ transplants. This has particular resonance for us, after our co-director Toni received a transplant herself in February that year - in fact, this event marked Toni's return to the choir after her recuperation from the operation, and she celebrated in fine style with her solo performance of "Feelin' good".

BeVox were thrilled to welcome as their special guests the award-winning Rodillian Singers. The Rodillian Singers are a female voice choir with over 60 members, based in the Wakefield/Leeds area. They've previously performed alongside the likes of Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, and Jonathan Ansell.

The concert culminated with a massive celebration of group singing as BeVox and the Rodillian Singers combined to form a massed choir who raised the roof of this magnificent building!
